Name: Prof. Badrinathachar Ghooli
Researcher and Author

      Prof. Badarinathachar Ghooli hails from a scholarly family. His grandfather got the title 'Shastraghooli' from the Uttaradi Mutt seer for his literary accomplishments in Shastras. His father was a multi-language expert and was well-versed in Bhagavatha, Bharatha, Geethamrutha and so on.

        Prof Badarinathachar was born in Bellary and did his education in Bangalore and Mysore. He had the good fortune of learning Sri Madhwacharya's works under the able tutorship of his father and Pandit Sankethi Subbarayaru (English professor). While serving as a professor at a Bellary College he studied SreemannyayaSudha and also celebrated Sreemannyaya Sudha Mangala in 1991. 


       He has translated Sri Madhwacharya's works in Kannada and English. 'Shreemadbhagavata' written by Sri Ghooli Krishnamurthyacharya Ghooli (Prof Badarinathachar's father) has seen 4 re-prints. In order to cater to further requests for this book, Prof Badarinathchar is now creating an enhanced version of this treatise in Kannada. A book titled 'Sreemadanubhaashyam', Sri Raghavendra Swamy's works in Telugu, translation of Sri Narayanapandithacharya's Shreemadunuvijaya and an introductory book on Sreemannyayasudha are the other published works of Prof. Badarinathachar.


        Prof. Badarinathachar's most recent work is the 'Sarvamoola Grantha Praveshini' a translation and simplification of Sri Madhwacharya's 37-volume 'Sarvamoolagrantha', which is under print now.
